Mickey Peters
Owner + CEO | Entrepreneur | Vistage Chair | International Business Executive
I have served as an executive leader in various company types throughout my career, from publicly traded, to start-ups, to founding my own business; I have led through every stage of an organization. Spending over 20 years working and living in Latin America as an international executive has made the most significant impact on my personal and professional life. My experience developed my ability to effectively adapt and connect with diverse cultures, understand the importance of hiring the right people, and build high-performing c-suite teams.
After returning to the states, my wife and I started a successful Massage Heights franchise to serve our community. Owning and operating a business through Hurricane Harvey and the COVID-19 pandemic was no easy feat, but we prevailed through dedication, grit, and hardworking talent.
Becoming a Vistage Chair was a seamless and natural progression in my career. Creating an environment where leaders can be vulnerable, deep, and teachable is invaluable to organizations and executives. My members meet in a noncompetitive and confidential environment to gain clarity on the significant decisions they are making, grow personally and professionally, and impact their organization and life. Through one-to-one coaching, members and I meet to dive deep into their struggles and opportunities, share experiences and expertise, and implement change. Vistage helps members manage the elusive work-life balance, make better decisions, stop CEOs from floating along, and hold each other accountable.
My work as a Vistage Chair, helping leaders personally and professionally, is my passion. In addition to serving as a Chair, I enjoy exercising, working at our spa, and spending time with my family. I serve as an Elder in our Church, and my wife and I share our firsthand experiences and struggles to help others in the community thrive.
