Your Role
Local Groups Mentors are experienced facilitators who engage, encourage, and guide new Foundation Group facilitators or ongoing Entrepreneur Group facilitators. Ideally, a mentor actively supports 2-3 local group facilitators.
ENGAGE
Communicate regularly and with each of your facilitators weekly or bi-weekly in a text, email, call, or even an occasional in-person coffee/lunch.
ENCOURAGE
Pray for your facilitators and humbly invest in them as people, not just facilitators.
GUIDE
Establishing and building a new group creates a lot of questions, but you’ve been there and know how to build lasting community, facilitate challenging conversations, and find the right content to keep going.

Onboarding
Talk to your FDE Regional Director about onboarding training.
We’ll get them on Group Finder. You take it from there.
This is a partnership. You are excited to mentor and support facilitators, so our team is ready to ensure the details are taken care of so groups can grow.
Get to Know the Facilitators
Spend time getting to know the facilitators you will mentor. Listen to them. Learn from them and about them. Find out why they are facilitating, what their hopes and goals are for the group, and how you can support the launch and health of the group.
